Student Accommodations Made Easy
Students making the transition to new cities or countries face daunting challenges that are made worse by off-campus living. Often for the first time, students have to manage rent payments, independently handle finances, and share household responsibilities with new roommates. Landlords have their own problems to solve, like minimizing the risk of late payments, dealing with property damage, and disputes.
Student Home Connect (SHC) is a mobile app that streamlines communications, simplifies tasks, and provides a variety of useful tools for landlords, property managers, and their student tenants. SHC transforms the student accommodation experience by enhancing the well-being of students and fostering positive relationships between tenants and property owners.
The SHC app is tailored to address these issues faced by student tenants and their landlords.
Among our many property management tools, we provide:
- Integration with academic calendars – Students can balance their academic and personal lives and reduce stress and conflicts by linking their academic calendar to schedule, assign, and track household chores. Chore splitting, cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping can be easily managed between matched roommates.
- Automated notifications and reminders – Real-time notifications and reminders to avoid late fees, budget expenses, and plan future payments.
- Effective communication – Address queries, requests, concerns, notifications, or reminders promptly and efficiently to a build smooth relationship between landlords, property managers and student tenants.
- Contactless end-to-end service – Allows access to information and services related to the property, from booking inspections and maintenance requests to paying rent and viewing lease agreements and other documents.
- Simplified and secure payment and billing process – Enables billing, payments and tracking of transactions in a convenient manner without the need to maintain separate documents or apps.
